Winter Jam Hits Ground Running!

The first weekend of Winter Jam 2015 Tour Spectacular welcomed a record-breaking number of people in Charleston, WV; Louisville, KY; and Grand Rapids, MI. Nearly 30,000 people attended the first three dates of Winter Jam 2015, about 1,295 more than the previous year’s concerts in the same cities.With temperatures dipping to 39 degrees midday in Charleston, the first date of the tour on Friday at Charleston Civic Center still greeted 11,039 people. The second evening on Saturday at Freedom Hall in Louisville offered warmer temperatures in the mid 60s and made room for 12,407 people. On the third day of Winter Jam on Sunday at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, 6,451 people braved frigid temperatures hovering in the mid 30s and accumulating snowfall. The wintery conditions may have kept many people from attending, but the total attendance for each night exceeded the previous year’s numbers.We don’t call it Winter Jam for nothing!
