Many of the artists promoted by Premier Productions received honors last night at the 48th Annual GMA Dove Awards at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena in Nashville, TN.
We congratulate our friends who were honored, including for KING & COUNTRY, Lauren Daigle, Hillsong UNITED, TobyMac, Jordan Feliz, Amanda Cook, Andy Mineo, Jonathan McReynolds and more!
Here are some highlights from the evening:
* Lauren Daigle took home three awards! She won Artist of the Year, Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song for her hit song “Trust in You,” and songwriter of the year for artist-written songs.
* For King & Country won Contemporary Christian Artist of the Year!
* TobyMac’s “This is Not a Test” won the Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year!
* Hillsong UNITED won Worship Album of the Year with “Empires.”
* Jordan Feliz took home the New Artist of the Year!
* Amanda Cook with Bethel Music won Inspirational Album of the Year for “Brave New World.”
* Andy Mineo, along with his writing team, won the Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song of the Year called, “Uncomfortable.”
* Jonathan McReynolds won contemporary gospel/Urban Recorded Song of the Year for his song, “The Way That You Love Me.”
* NEEDTOBREATHE’s song “Happiness” won the Rock/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year.
