Days after their 3-month stint with Winter Jam ends, the hard rocking Christian band RED will release their latest album, Declaration. RED has been offering the only hard rock music during the 10-band, $15 a night Winter Jam Tour Spectacular since it kicked off Jan. 10. The tour continues through March 29, and it is what the band lives to do.
RED has long since established itself as a million-selling juggernaut with two Grammy nods, six Dove Awards, and 17 Dove nominations, but the band says they still “live and die” on stages all over the world – putting everything they have into every live performance.
“We have had countless conversations with fans over the last 11 years touring, and people share their hearts with us,” said band member Randy Armstrong. “They share their insecurities, their fears. Us having a faith and the background that we do, we carry those things with us no matter what kind of questions we ask ourselves because our music has that redemptive side. We find our way out of the darkness.”
The band is also scheduled to perform at Rock the Park this summer at Carwinds on June 6th. Tickets are on sale now for that summertime fesitval.
