John Crist Gets a Lesson in ‘Proper’ Table Manners

By September 14, 2017No Comments

Comedian John Crist has made an artform of poking fun at the “fam” – the Christian family, that is. His latest YouTube video portrays himself as a kid going to a Christian friend’s house for dinner. Check out this hilarious video here:

Released this week, the 1-minute spoof already has tallied more than 25,000 views. Still, it may have to fall in line behind “Swag Seminary” released in May, which has nearly 300,000 hits; “How It’s Made: Christian Music” at nearly 667,000 views; and “Christian Mingle Inspector,” which is quickly approaching 1 million views. With more than 150 million video views in all, he is splitting sides and tickling funny bones all over the nation. With more than 200 live shows a year and recent TV appearances on Live at Gotham and Laughs on Fox, John is bringing his unique brand of comedy to audiences far and wide.

Catch John live on his “Captive Thoughts Comedy Tour” this fall with comedian friends Heath Arthur, Mike Goodwin or John Felts, who will get the laughter started at each event. The tour has added matinees to several dates and is selling out quickly across the board. Check out all the dates and details here.

“The ‘Captive Thoughts’ Tour is going to be different than any show I’ve ever done,” says John. “I’ve got a few of my comedian buddies coming with me, so not only will you see me, but you’ll hear from some of the best rising comics in the game. The thing I like about this tour is that normally we just go wherever we get requests, but we’ve looked at our audience and where our fans are, and we’ve decided to go to them. My favorite part of touring is meeting people from different areas of the country and hearing how my comedy has impacted them or their favorite part of my act. This tour includes a special VIP package where I get to meet and talk to everyone, so I’m excited to do that.”
