Erica Campbell, Kirk Franklin, Lecrae, Tamela Mann and Tasha Cobbs are nominees for the Dr. Bobby Jones Gospel/Inspirational Award
This award is given out during the BET Awards for the top Gospel/Inpirational artist for the year. We are proud to see that over half of the nominees are artists that have performed for some of our festivals. The nominees are Erica Campbell, Kirk Franklin, Lecrae, Tamela Mann and Tasha Cobbs. Tasha Cobbs and Erica Campbell are scheduled to perform at our Joyfest concert at Carowinds on May 28, 2016 and Erica Campbell will also be performing at our Joyfest concert at Kings Dominion on July 9, 2016. The winner of the award will be announced during the 2016 BET Awards show on Sunday June 26, starting at 8:00 pm (ET).
