An upcoming Travel Channel series called “Insane Coaster Wars” will feature Carowinds’ Intimidator in their episode called “Extreme Heights.” The seven-part series will debut July 8. Coaster fanatics can vote for their favorites online. Other categories include “Hang ‘Em High,” “Splintering Speeds,” and “Wrong Way Up.” A one-hour finale of “Insane Coaster Wars,” set for Aug. 12, will reveal the 10 coasters with the most votes. Voting is set to begin May 7 at www.travelchannel.com.
